Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Extension Janitor ("the Extension"), a browser extension developed and operated by Crossroads Technologies, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By installing, accessing, or using the Extension, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Extension.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing the Extension or clicking "I Agree" within the application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Installation and continued use of the Extension constitutes your ongoing acceptance of these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Extension Janitor scans your browser for orphaned extension entries, heavyweight extensions, and stale caches. The Extension offers both free and paid tiers:

• Free Tier: Browser scanning, health score analysis, extension audit, cache clearing, and report export.
• Pro Tier ($4.99/month): Fix script generation, scheduled monitoring, historical tracking, and native cleanup via a companion application.

The native cleanup component operates outside the browser to remove orphaned entries from browser configuration files. This requires a separately installed companion application that runs with your explicit authorization.

3. Account and Billing

Pro features require a paid subscription processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal accessible from within the Extension. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to Pro features until that period ends.

4. Digital Delivery and No Refund Policy

Extension Janitor Pro is a digital product delivered electronically. Upon subscribing, Pro features are activated instantly and access is granted immediately to your browser extension installation. Because digital goods are delivered and consumed at the moment of purchase, and cannot be "returned" in any meaningful sense, all sales are final.

All payments for Extension Janitor Pro subscriptions are non-refundable. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are purchasing access to a digital service that is delivered and activated immediately upon payment.
• No refunds, credits, or exchanges will be provided for any reason, including but not limited to dissatisfaction with the service, accidental purchases, or failure to cancel before a renewal date.
• You expressly consent to the immediate delivery of digital content and waive any applicable cooling-off or withdrawal rights that may otherwise apply under consumer protection laws.
• You waive any right to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute for charges you have authorized under these Terms. Filing a fraudulent chargeback against a charge you authorized constitutes a breach of these Terms.
• A 7-day free trial is available so you can fully evaluate Pro features before committing to a paid subscription. We strongly encourage you to use the trial period to determine whether the service meets your needs before purchasing.
• If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at info@codewarrior4life.com and we will investigate. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in immediate termination of your account and pursuit of all available legal remedies.

5. Free Trial

New users may be eligible for a 7-day free trial of Pro features. The trial is limited to one per user/device. No payment information is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, Pro features become unavailable unless you subscribe.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension.
• Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the Extension or any part of it.
• Use the Extension in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair our services.
• Attempt to circumvent payment mechanisms or access Pro features without authorization.
• Share, transfer, or sell subscription access to third parties.

7. Intellectual Property

The Extension, including all code, design, graphics, and documentation, is the property of Crossroads Technologies, LLC and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Your license to use the Extension is limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE EXTENSION WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CROSSROADS TECHNOLOGIES, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE EXTENSION. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

The Extension interacts with browser configuration files and may disable browser extensions at your direction. We are not responsible for any data loss, browser instability, or other consequences resulting from cleanup operations that you initiate.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Extension at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Extension ceases immediately. Sections 4, 8, 9, and 11 survive termination.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Dakota, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Codington County, South Dakota.

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Extension after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
